Welcome to Aylesbury House, a beautifully modernised Victorian terraced home in a sought-after part of Portsmouth. The house has been thoughtfully renovated to combine its historic character with modern comfort, offering space, privacy, and flexibility for every type of guest. The property has three spacious bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are fitted with super king-size beds, which can be separated into single beds if requested, making them perfect for families, friends, or colleagues travelling together. The third bedroom offers a comfortable double bed. One of the main highlights of the house is the ground-floor bedroom. It is completely step-free, with easy access from the entrance, and includes its own ensuite bathroom with a shower. This room also opens directly onto the secure garden, making it especially convenient for guests who prefer not to use stairs, for families with children, or for anyone travelling with pets. The secure private garden is a peaceful space where guests can relax outdoors. Inside, the house is fully equipped for modern living, with superfast Wi-Fi, four smart televisions, and all the essentials you would expect for a comfortable stay. Each bedroom has its own secure access, giving every guest a sense of privacy and independence. Guests also benefit from a private entrance and free street parking nearby. Parking spaces are limited, so availability cannot always be guaranteed, but most guests find it convenient. Aylesbury House is conveniently located near local shops, restaurants, and public transportation, with easy access to major roads and motorways. This makes it an excellent base for exploring Portsmouth and the surrounding area, whether you are visiting for leisure, work, or an extended stay. To make a reservation, you must be at least 25 years old. Before arriving, all guests (including children) must complete an online check-in form, agree to the property's Terms and Conditions, and provide a valid photo ID copy. We understand this may be a new requirement for you, but we emphasise our obligations regarding Fire Safety and Public Liability Insurance.

We keep our prices competitive by preparing the house to match your booking size. For single guests, one bedroom is open, and two remain closed. For two guests, two bedrooms are available. With three to six guests, the whole house is yours. All bookings always include the living areas, kitchen, and garden. This way, you enjoy a fair price while still having plenty of comfort and space.

Our home is located in a traditional Portsmouth neighbourhood, renowned for its rows of classic terraced houses and a friendly, lived-in community atmosphere. It’s an authentic slice of local life – close enough to the buzz of the city centre, but tucked away on quieter residential streets. You’ll find local shops, supermarkets, and convenience stores just a short walk away, making it easy to pick up essentials. There are also plenty of takeaways and cafés nearby if you’d rather grab a quick bite. For a classic pint, there are traditional pubs like The Phoenix Ale House and The Sir John Baker, both within easy reach. The location is excellent for exploring – you’re only a 10-minute drive or short bus ride from Portsmouth’s highlights like the Historic Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays shopping and restaurants, and the lively seafront at Southsea. The area boasts a mix of young professionals, families, and long-time residents, creating a diverse and welcoming atmosphere.
